Creating a balance between the mind and the heart is what I have been practicing for the last 10 years. There were many moments where I found myself lost in my mind: I was studying Business Administration and Psychology at the same time, working as a volunteer, a part-time board year, a student job, a busy social life etc.
Nowadays people would label the way I was feeling as a burn-out. There were days I literally had to roll myself out of bed because my body refused to. By taking steps which did not seem logical and which people around me could not always understand, I found my way to my heart again.
When I graduated, I went to India for a Yoga Teacher Training as opposed to taking a job immediately. I was also the only one in my Management Traineeship group who started working 36 hours a week instead of 40 hours (which I decreased at some point even to 28 hours). I moved to the city of the company where I was working so I would not spend hours in traffic jams. I also decided to take an early sabbatical of 6 months which would allow me to travel around the world.
These choices helped me find the way to my heart again. I heard my heart whispering louder and louder, and followed my intuition.
This made me fall in love with life and all its magnificent and endless opportunities to grow, to share and to love.
Connection, growth and freedom are the most important elements in everything I do in life right now. From coaching managers and professionals in the business world, to organizing retreats and facilitating InnerGuidance journeys.
I always felt like I had to choose:
between Business Administration and Psychology
between the business world and the spiritual world
between living on Bali and living in the Netherlands
Until I realized it can be BOTH and that this would actually balance my life;
Balancing the yin, feminine and yang, masculine energy.
Years ago I would have never imagined that I would be coaching managers and professionals, organizing retreats in Sweden, Bali and the Netherlands and facilitating InnerGuidance sessions and cacao ceremonies. But now, when I connect the dots all my trainings (200hrs Vinyasa/Ashtanga yoga, 100hrs Yin yoga, 150hrs Yin yoga for therapy, InnerGuidance 100hrs, cacao ceremony course and many workshops) were about connecting with my body, my heart, my soul, my mind and about connecting with others in a deep and authentic way.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
